Wagner Oehler, Ltd. is a Minnesota law firm with its primary office in Rochester. While many local firms are focused on the Mayo Clinic and its employees, Wagner Oehler serves the surrounding communities, offering estate planning and agricultural and farm law, among other legal services. The firm has been a fixture in the community since it was founded in 1973. Like most businesses that continue to thrive well into their fifth decade, the firm has earned a reputation for quality work and service.

Also like most businesses that are going strong after almost fifty years, the firm has undergone a transition in ownership. Firm president and owner Jason Wagner started at the firm as a clerk, became an associate, and then a partner, before taking the helm. With his ownership, the firm also underwent a name change.

When planning for a new law firm website, Jason faced a challenge: to honor the firm’s long history and reputation and the legacy of the founders, while also establishing himself as a trustworthy leader who will guide the firm into the future.

We used our new website design process to help Wagner Oehler express their respect for their history, and plans for the future.

The website’s content expresses respect for the firm’s long-held values; the design and color scheme, including the new logo design, are bright and modern. A prominent banner photo on the home page features Jason Wagner, the new owner and managing partner seated with Bill Oehler, the previous owner, surrounded by their team. Further down the page, there is a welcoming message from Jason, identified clearly as the firm’s managing partner. Together they convey the message that the firm has planned as carefully for its own future as it does for its clients’.
