Bringing a New Way to Do Patent Law to Minneapolis, MN, and the World

From the start, Avantech Law’s founder, William Woodford made one thing clear: he didn’t want his new law firm’s website to look like just another lawyers’ page. He had a new idea for how to make patent law profitable and predictable for entrepreneurs and researchers. Having developed and led the alternative fee practice section at one of the nation’s most prestigious IP law firms, Woodford knew how to make forward-looking representation more efficient.

Rather than try to turn an ocean liner, Mr. Woodford left BigLaw to set off on a new venture: Avantech Law, LLC. His next-generation case management strategy meant pricing, project management, and even his own history needed a fresh, next-generation approach on the firm’s new website.
