The Modern Firm website design team is located all over the nation. But Ann Arbor, Michigan, hosts three of our key members: President Brendan Chard, Creative Director Chris Salzman, and Content Chief Merrill Hodnefield. From this hub we coordinate with other critical staff as far south as Georgia and as far west as Seattle.

Just up the street from The Modern Firm's Ann Arbor office sits the Washtenaw County Courthouse. We've always had a good relationship with the local bar, and we have been privileged to work with many Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County attorneys and law firms over the years. It seems fitting, then, that we've had the opportunity to work for many years with the Washtenaw County Bar Association. Housed in the courthouse up the street, WCBA commissioned their current website from us many moons ago. Now ready for an update featuring mobile responsive website design, WCBA returned to us for a fresh new site. We're happy to welcome them back.

In addition to our years of providing website design services to solo attorneys and small law firms, The Modern Firm has a broad range of experience designing websites for law-related organizations, including bar associations like the WCBA. These organizations generally have specialized needs, such as:

  • distinct areas for the public and for member attorneys
  • membership log-in, information, and payment areas, and
  • attorney referral databases.
