What do you do when you’ve spent your career running the law firm your father established, but you want to begin winding down your practice? If you’re lucky, you end up talking to a friend whose son has just the right experience to take over and keep the practice running. That’s how attorney Matthew Moore found himself at the firm now known as Moore Law, LLC, in Batesville, Indiana. He partnered with his father’s friend, whose practice consisted of estate planning, elder law and Medicaid planning, and related areas. When the older attorney was ready to transition out of practice, Matthew took the helm.

Although the firm has an established practice, Matthew is committed to doing whatever is necessary to helping the firm grow and thrive. One of those things was creating a new website to showcase not only the firm’s new leadership, but its expanded practice areas. The firm had a website, but it wasn’t generating leads or reflecting the firm’s evolution.

The Website

“Protecting What Matters”

A primary reason that the firm was so respected (and busy) was its deep roots in the community. The website needed to emphasize those roots, while still highlighting the new leadership and growth. Accordingly, the website content reflects the firm’s history in the community, as well as Matthew’s own. The firm gets much of its business by referral, so the site reassures visitors that the law firm they know and trust still offers the same responsive, client-centered service.

The website itself is easy to navigate, and features welcoming images of the team and its practice areas, helping prospective clients know what to expect. As the firm continues to grow and evolve, it will be able to easily edit the website to reflect the changes, while honoring what has stayed the same.
