Boutique Detroit Firm Reflects Evolution with New Law Firm Website

For more than 40 years, the Allen Law Group, also known as ALG, has served its Detroit-area clients in areas that include business development and municipal law. The minority-owned, majority-minority firm started out in the 1980s as an employment and labor law firm, and has grown organically as its clients requested the help of the firm they had come to trust with other legal matters.
The firm’s natural expansion, in terms of both practice areas and size, is evidence of its capabilities and ability to keep up with the changing legal landscape. Unfortunately, as is often the case with busy law practices, the law firm website hadn’t kept pace with developments in the firm itself, and looked a bit out of date.
ALG’s leadership wanted a modern website that would reflect the dynamic nature of the firm—not only to clients, but to prospective employees who might consider joining the practice as it continues to grow.
The Website
Getting Solutions Delivered.
ALG’s new primary tagline, “Getting Solutions Delivered,” sprang from The Modern Firm’s conversation with the firm’s attorneys about their brand and reputation as problem-solvers early in the website design process. Another tagline on the website, “Combining Business Acumen with Legal Knowledge,” reflects the constellation of skills that sets the firm apart from competitors.
Since the firm is so deeply rooted in Detroit, with long relationships with local municipalities and industries, the billboard images on the homepage are a slideshow of iconic Detroit images. The imagery evokes the renaissance and bright future of the city. The website design also features a modern color scheme of navy, copper, and white, and clear, efficient navigation. As with all of TMF’s website designs, ALG’s new site has responsive design, allowing it to be sized correctly on whatever device the firm’s busy clients may use to view it.
Based in Detroit, ALG serves clients in the Detroit metropolitan area and the surrounding region of Southeast Michigan.
