Precedent-Setting Law Firm Gets Updated Website Design

When one of North Carolina’s most prestigious labor and employment law firms, Patterson Harkavy, LLP, needed a new website design, the Modern Firm team was happy to take up the challenge. With ten attorneys and eight main practice areas, they needed a site design that was easy to follow, and content that would highlight their strengths.

The firm’s existing website had grown over the years, with different writers adding content to different practice areas. Our content writers and designers worked with the firm’s substantial existing content, giving their site an updated look and a robust portfolio of practice area pages and supplemental content. We helped them to bring a consistent look and feel to their web content so that each page sounded and looked similar to the others, all while bringing the site’s overall web design up to date.

Making the Most of a Legacy of Public Legal Work

One unique challenge in Paterson Harkavy’s project was to find a way to present the firm’s decades of work in defense of individuals, workers, and labor unions in North Carolina, and across the South. Their firm often partners with advocacy groups, and works to defend the rights of the wrongfully accused and victims of police misconduct. Patterson Harkavy attorneys have been behind some of the state’s most influential court decisions, and had even been featured in documentaries. We wanted to put together a special webpage designed to highlight the Patterson Harkavy Legacy, and highlight some of the firm’s biggest wins.
