Ruth Dela Cruz

Designer Ruth dela Cruz started work at The Modern Firm in September 2024, bringing with her nearly a decade of experience in web and graphic design. A graduate of the Technological University of the Philippines, she now resides in Quezon City. Ruth has spent her entire career helping clients in a variety of industries improve their websites and marketing materials. She is proficient in the use of a variety of tools, including WordPress and Figma. 

Ruth enjoys The Modern Firm’s focus on small law firms. As a graphic designer, one of her favorite parts of her work is the constant learning process, growing and evolving along with developments in technology, trends, and her clients’ needs. Although she gets great satisfaction from bringing a vision to life, she enjoys the journey and process of design as much as the end result. 

Responsibilities

Ruth works on website projects, collaborating with clients and other team members to understand the client’s goal for the design of the website. She brainstorms design ideas to create a visual expression of the client’s unique brand, refines concepts as needed to achieve the client’s goals, and develops print collateral and other materials to support this visual branding.

Away From the Desk

Unsurprisingly, Ruth’s creativity isn’t confined to working hours; she does a lot of crafting and DIY, and recently picked up a sewing machine to revive an old hobby. Much of Ruth’s time is occupied with family, including her husband and three young children. One of her favorite things to do is play with her children, including helping them explore their own artistic abilities.
