Ann Arbor family law attorney Marian Faupel is a bit of a legend in these parts. She has worked in all areas of Michigan family law — including divorce, adoption and contested child custody matters — for over 30 years. Not only was she the prevailing attorney in the famous "Baby Jessica" case, but she has received honors including the Alumna Achievement Award from Wayne State Law School the Michiganian of the Year Award from the Detroit News. But, above all — and true to her early career as a teacher — Marian Faupel is an educator, both formally and informally. She serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Wayne State Law School. And, just as notably, she is committed to educating her clients about the law, their rights, and their options. To this end, she has written many articles on a wide array of legal subjects.
